the experience

value for money

this fish ball noodle in this post was contributed by someone who lives in the northern part of the country
despite the price being $4, stall owner seems ethical and friendly

the noodle given is the portion (averagely) when you add-up to $5 noodles at other stalls
the portion of the minced meat is a scoop of a ladle (WOW! by the contributor)
great taste with that traditional chilli and vinegar

on the whole, this stall recommended to us is NOT using price hike as a facade
it appears that this stall sells with a sense of passion
seemingly, it is the 2nd generation where the founder (grandpa) is still around
down to earth, great portion, a seller that customers are willing to reciprocate
(nothing about daydream reaching heaven in a single bound often seen in recent younger generations)

The mention of grandpa brings to mind an another grandpa with great vigor but forgotten by people
who sold ‘hum chee beng’ dough at a mere 20 cents at old Maxwell market
hoping for everyone, including the poor, to be able to afford to eat
when his daughter took over
she decided to call it quit there after
what a shame
